Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Support the Quality Inspector to ensure all products meet standard finished goods specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness of the production line during the shift and at month-end.
- Accurately complete the daily production report and submit it to the Production Team Leader.
- Set up the machine correctly and perform size changeovers as needed.
- Handle raw materials appropriately, including receiving, returning, and transferring to/from the Raw Material Warehouse.
- Promptly notify the Lead Operator and Line Setter of any machine issues.
- Ensure all finished goods pallets, waste bins, waste trolleys, and raw materials are stored in their designated areas.
- Follow all safety and environmental guidelines and participate in HSE toolbox talks.
- Take part in all relevant levels of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) system activities, including development, planning, evaluation, and improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in the extrusion field.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of the extrusion and printing processes.
Language Skills: Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Physical Health: Must be in good physical condition and able to work in hot and demanding environments.
Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and in challenging conditions.
