Machine Operator (Six Head Moulder Machine)

Operate six-head / multi-head moulder machines for profiling, planing, sizing, and shaping timber components.

Set up machine heads (spindle arrangement) according to approved profiles, cutter layouts, and shop drawings.

Ensure finished components meet dimensional tolerances, profile accuracy, and surface finish requirements.

Match production output with approved samples and profile templates.

Inspect timber for moisture content, straightness, knots, cracks, and defects prior to moulding.

Ensure timber is properly sized, straightened, and prepared before feeding into the machine.

Select, install, and align cutter heads, knives, and tooling according to the required profile.

Ensure cutters are sharp, balanced, and securely mounted.

Comply with all health and safety regulations related to high-speed woodworking machinery.

Use appropriate PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and dust masks

Coordinate with cutting, ripping, sanding, and finishing teams for smooth workflow.
