Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain packaging and printing machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime, including troubleshooting minor mechanical issues.
  • Monitor print quality and packaging integrity, making necessary adjustments to maintain product standards and minimize waste, including color matching and registration.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication, adhering to a strict schedule to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Set up machines for various packaging and printing runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and verifying parameters according to specifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. Vocational training in printing or packaging is a plus.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) operating packaging and printing machinery, with a strong understanding of machine mechanics.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with various printing processes (e.g., flexography, offset) and packaging materials.
