Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Machining Shop Skilled Worker to operate Plano Milling Machine and Horizontal Boring Machine (HBM) for machining large and heavy components as per engineering drawings and production requirements.

  • Operate Plano Miller and HBM machines independently

  • Set up large workpieces, fixtures, and cutting tools

  • Perform milling, boring, facing, drilling, and precision machining operations

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances

  • Maintain dimensional accuracy and required surface finish

  • Inspect components using measuring instruments

  • Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Follow safety and quality standards

  • Milling Machine Certification (Mandatory)

  • Minimum 6 8 years of experience in Plano Miller & HBM operations

  • Experience in machining large and heavy components

  • Ability to read engineering drawings and maintain tight tolerances

  • Hands-on experience with measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Dial Indicator, etc.)

  • Understanding of shop floor safety standards

Desired Candidate Profile

ITI Machinist (Mandatory)

Milling Machine Certification (Mandatory)

Minimum 6 8 years of experience in Plano Miller & HBM operations

Experience in machining large and heavy components

Strong knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, and speeds

Ability to read engineering drawings and maintain tight tolerances

Hands-on experience with measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Dial Indicator, etc.)

Understanding of shop floor safety standards
