Job Purpose

To support in using blueprints, sketches, or computer-aided design (CAD) and manufacturing files to produce precision metal parts incompliance with ISO safety standards.

Description

• Recommend improvements to departmental policy and support in the implementation of procedures and controls
• Fabricate replacement and new parts for the machinery
• Fabricate, erect, install, and maintain the machinery
• Operate lathe machine in an efficient manner
• Measure accurately through Dia-gauge and micro meter
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on the machinery
• Write and maintain standard operating procedures and Job Safety Analysis
• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs
• Communicate with operators in an effective manner
• Maintain and secure work tools
• Clean and maintain work area
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
• Perform back-up for assembly line
• Perform back-up for warehouse
• Support procurement in ordering tools and fabrication parts
• Perform other job related projects and/or assignments that he/she might be asked to do by his/her direct supervisor/manager for special assistance that are often not mentioned in this job description as they arise under specific circumstancesbr>
