Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Organizing routine servicing schedules
  • Allocating work to a team of fitters
  • Fitting new parts
  • Carrying out quality inspections
  • Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns
  • Fixing faults or arranging for replacements to be installed
  • Organizing teams to make sure 24-hours cover is available
  • Supervising contracted staff
  • Checking and preparing site reports, and drawing
  • Providing technical advice; problem solving
  • Ensuring site safety.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably within the elevator and escalator industry.
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements for vertical transportation equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for client and team interactions.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and diagnostic tools.
  • Flexibility to work on a full-time, unlimited, or long-term basis as required.
  • Willingness to work in a remote or field-based arrangement.
