Installation and commissioning of biomedical equipment:

• Install biomedical equipment on site in accordance with established technical procedures.
• Perform functional checks and performance tests before commissioning
• Ensure the proper startup and configuration of equipment.

Preventive and corrective maintenance:

• Perform regular checks to anticipate potential breakdowns (preventive maintenance)
• Diagnose malfunctions and intervene quickly to carry out the necessary repairs (corrective maintenance)
• Maintain an up-to-date record of interventions carried out

Training and technical support:

• Train medical and technical staff in the correct and safe use of equipment
• Provide technical support in case of difficulties encountered by users
• Write training materials or user guides as needed.

Inventory and spare parts management:

• Ensure the availability of spare parts needed for repairs
• Manage spare parts inventory and propose supplies
• Track parts orders and deliveries

Compliance and safety:

• Verify that biomedical equipment complies with current regulatory standards
• Implement upgrade or withdrawal procedures in case of non-compliance.
• Ensuring the safety of equipment for users and patients

Collaboration interservices :

• Working in coordination with medical staff, the technical department, and other departments
• Participate in technical meetings or cross-functional projects related to medical devices
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of biomedical services

Documentation et reporting :

• Write intervention, diagnostic, or interview reports according to internal standards
• Keep technical documentation and equipment maintenance records up to date

Technology watch :

• Keeping informed about technological innovations in the biomedical field
• To propose technical solutions for the improvement or replacement of existing equipment
