Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance according to monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system faults within defined SLA times.
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency calls and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure all protective devices function correctly.
- Support major repairs, overhauls, and modernization works when required.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and support staff as needed.
- Communicate professionally with building management and end users.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
- 3 6 years of experience in elevator/escalator maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of elevator systems (traction, and hydraulic) and escalators.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and respond to urgent maintenance calls as required.
