Maintenance Engineer OCTOPUS M E P TECHNICAL SERVICES L.L.C

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically knowledgeable Maintenance Engineer / Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team. The role will support the operations and technical departments by reviewing technician reports, preparing accurate quotations, assisting with procurement coordination, and ensuring high technical standards across maintenance works.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of residential maintenance systems, particularly AC, plumbing, and electrical works, and be confident working closely with technicians, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Review technicians’ technical reports and prepare accurate quotations and recommendations for clients

• Create detailed technical reports by gathering site photos, inspection findings, and supporting documentation

• Work closely with the procurement department to source materials and identify part availability within the local market

• Assist in identifying suitable replacement parts and alternative solutions when required

• Support technicians in diagnosing issues and ensuring technical information provided is accurate and complete

• Conduct quality checks on reports submitted by technicians before client submission

• Provide guidance and training to technicians on reporting standards, fault identification, and parts specification where required

• Assist with preparing technical submittals, inspection reports, and scope of works

• Maintain proper documentation and reporting records for maintenance activities

• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth communication between field and office teams

• Ensure all reports and quotations are completed within company turnaround times
