Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on Heidelberg printing machines and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in printing and packaging machinery.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and document all repairs, inspections, and parts replacements.
  • Coordinate with external service providers and suppliers for specialized repairs and procurement of spare parts.
  • Implement and monitor maintenance schedules in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on proper maintenance procedures and equipment handling.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing process enhancements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 20 years of experience in maintenance engineering in the printing or packaging industry.

  • Proven ability to maintain and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of Heidelberg printing machines and related auxiliary equipment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company protocols.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
