Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and enhance productivity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues, including PLC-based systems.
• Maintain and update CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for planning, scheduling, and recording maintenance activities.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
• Supervise and train technicians on maintenance procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement to ensure the availability of critical components.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and health & safety regulations.
• Participate in shift-based operations to provide full maintenance coverage.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machines and production lines.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer
• Bachelor s degree in Engineering
• Strong expertise in machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment failures
• Capable of planning and executing preventive maintenance strategies
• Knowledge of CMMS software, PLCs, robotics, and automation systems is considered a plus
