Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on Kern auto mailing machines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in mailing equipment both onsite and remotely.
Respond promptly to service calls and provide technical support to clients, minimizing equipment downtime.
Install, configure, and test new mailing machines at client locations, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports for all maintenance activities and repairs.
Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to provide feedback on recurring issues and suggest improvements.
Train end-users and client staff on the proper operation and basic maintenance of Kern mailing machines.
Order and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring timely availability for repairs and maintenance.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards during maintenance and repair activities.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in mailing machine technology and maintenance best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
1-5 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a similar technical role, preferably with electromechanical equipment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of automated machinery.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and technical support.
Willingness to travel to client sites and work in an on-site (office/field) arrangement.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
