Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on moulded paper product machinery and pulp moulding equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal machine performance.
- Coordinate and execute repairs, replacements, and upgrades of production line components.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to maximize equipment reliability and lifespan.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with production to identify process improvements and equipment modifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor technicians and operators on proper equipment handling and maintenance procedures.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and tooling.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to minimizing equipment downtime.
- Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in an industrial setting.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work on-site and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
