Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Liaise with the Hostel Department on a daily basis regarding issues related to maintenance of hostel facilities and services.
  • Attend meetings with Administrative Affairs, Hostel Department and other related departments concerning hostel maintenance and facilities
  • Prepare reports, compile relevant data, and assist in the preparation of maintenance budgets for hostel facilities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time by the Director or higher authorities.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil , Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years experience in building maintenance & hostel facilities
  • Good communication skills in English and Arabic
  • Familiar with Excell & AutoCAD
  • Minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent
  • Knowledge and awareness of safety standards
  • IOSH Managing Safely certificate or similar safety-related certificate is preferable.

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing engineering tasks and overseeing maintenance activities related to the female students residential facilities at Dhofar University in close coordination with the Department of Female Students Residency (DFSR)/p> Requirements :
