Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
General (Educational Overall): UG - Mechanical or Electrical and Electronics or Mechatronics, preferable Electrical.
Professional (Educational Specific to the Job Role):
Certification course related to the electrical, electronic and machineries operational system
Physical Condition: Should be lift the material up to 22kg
Languages Known: Mandatory – English, Optional – Hindi, Philippine, Tamil, Other language.
Min – 15 years
Min - 12 years in supervisory in maintenance department, in beverage or water or FMCG industry
Should have a work Experience in Sidel, KHS & SMI, Cermex machineries
To enforce the company’s disciplinary code of conduct with all staff under supervision
Scheduling the Maintenance plan
Controlling of all maintenance activities
To notify management if any crisis arises
Deciding the machine maintenance without affecting the production
Making LPO’s for technical Spares and follow-up
Responsibilities
- To achieve all Lines Mechanical Efficiency as per Targets.
- Perform Preventive / Breakdown maintenance of all line equipment.
- Implement new projects related in Factory.
- Reduce the down time of line equipment’s/Utility equipment’s by doing periodical preventive maintenance.
- Increasing production Efficiency by minimising the Breakdown.
- Responsible to conduct maintenance audit for all the machinery.
- Ensure the machine parts and lubricating medium in the production facility is food graded.
- Daily monitoring of Utility usage.
- Preparing maintenance schedule for each and every machine with the coordination of Production Team.
- Responsible to monitor daily machine maintenance activities as per the schedule.
- Analyse the root cause for the machinery’s breakdown if any,
- Ensure that all safeties in the machineries are working properly.
- Responsible to track all technical spares along with production team.
- Responsible to communicate with machine manufacturers for smooth functioning of machineries.
- Ensure the proper work permit and personal safety protection kits are available before employing an employee in a work.
- Monitoring and purchase orders preparing for the machineries spare parts.
- Responsible to make critical spares list and make sure that it will be available for emergency.
- Identify and all the necessary critical spares for all technical spares.
- Scheduling preventive maintenance for all the machines.
- Maintaining the History Card for all the machineries.
- Responsible to Train the people for new environment.
- Effective utilization of Man power and Man hours.
- Implementing GMP practices in the factory.
- Responsible to produce 100% quality product.
- Ensure that the Forklift availability at all times.
- Minimise Employee Overtime.
- Creating SOP’s for all utility operation.
- Assist with implementation of new projects if any.
- Active participation in coordination with other department team members in internal and external audits.
- Implementation of HACCP, ISO and EHS standards requirements in the Maintenance activities.
- Ensure the operational controls are in place in order to avoid risk.
- Periodic review and update of HIRA and EAI Registers.
- Train and make aware all the sub ordinates on the job risk.
Customer Service management:
To be in line with the neighbourhood department as per the process requirement.
Customer Data Management:
To be in line with the neighbourhood department as per the process requirement.
Internal Company Communication
Liaising with technical, quality and admin staff
Communicating problems and solutions with management
Quality and Food safety related concerns must be communicated to the quality team
Environmental, health and safety related concerns must be communicated to the EHS officer

1 To achieve Mechanical Efficiency in PET, Glass Line & Cup line as per target.
a. Minimise the start up time to increase the productivity
b. Mechanical Efficiency for the individual lines daily
2 To minimize the Breakdown in all Line & utility equipment’s as per the target.
a. Monitor the number of break down with equipment wise and submit to Department Head
b. Analyse the root cause analysis for machine breakdown and take necessary action to prevent it.
3 To maintain the Technical spares and Inventory management Ordering the technical spare at the respective time and as per the frequency.
4 Maintain and monitor HK & GMP programs at Utilities and Technical store
a. Maintain the high level cleaning in factory premises as well as personal hygienic.
b. Review all documents related to production and make DCR wherever required.
5 To achieve Zero Consumer Complaints in Finished Products. Coordinate with QA in case of any defects or Non-conformances observed during production (stop and segregate the defected products)
6 To achieve the cost saving projects as per the business goal Implement and maintain the cost reduction plan to the maintenance department.
