Maintenance In-Charge Gulf Model School

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily maintenance operations across the school campus
• Supervise and allocate tasks to maintenance staff, including electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general technicians
• Conduct routine inspections of school facilities to identify repair and maintenance needs
• Ensure timely completion of all maintenance requests and preventive maintenance schedules
• Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers for repairs, servicing, and AMC management
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, inventory of materials, and equipment logs
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and school facility regulations

Report on maintenance status and requirements to School Management

• Ensure all school facilities (classrooms, washrooms, electrical systems, water supply, AC units, playgrounds, etc.) are safe and function efficiently

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance In-Charge (school experience preferred)
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repair work
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Good command of English; additional languages (Hindi/Malayalam/Arabic) are an advantage
• Organized, reliable, and proactive with attention to detail
