Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and implement engineering and maintenance strategies that align with the company s overall objectives.
Monitor the daily progress of maintenance activities.
Plan and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Forecast future infrastructure and equipment needs.
Lead and manage engineering and maintenance teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upgrades of facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Monitor the execution of projects to ensure timely completion within budget and specifications.
Maintain close coordination with the Production Department to optimize equipment operating conditions.
Ensure adherence to all local, national, and international safety regulations and standards.
Establish and maintain safety protocols for all maintenance and engineering activities.
Conduct regular audits to assess risk and implement corrective measures as needed.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and technological advancements to enhance operational efficiency.
Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
Foster innovation to solve operational challenges and meet business needs.
Work closely with other departments to ensure engineering and maintenance activities support organizational goals.
Liaise with contractors, and service providers to secure the best outcomes for the organization.
Present progress and performance reports to senior management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
Residents of El Sadat city or neighboring areas are preferred.
15+ years in engineering and maintenance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in feed mills.
Strong project management, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in maintenance management systems and engineering software.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Strategic thinking and planning.
Problem-solving and decision-making.
Budget management and resource allocation.
Team leadership and conflict resolution.
Proficient use of Microsoft office.
Excellent client service skills, communication skills, and punctuality.
Presentable, confident, flexible and a good team player.
Energetic, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
