Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities/strong>
- Data Analysis, Statistics & Reporting/strong>
- Analyze maintenance and production data to identify trends, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities.
- Apply statistical tools (Pareto, trend analysis, RCA data validation) to support decision-making.
- Develop Power BI dashboards and reports tracking downtime, MTBF, MTTR, OEE impact, and maintenance cost.
- Provide regular, data-driven performance reports to senior management.
- Maintenance Strategy & Planning/strong>
- Develop and continuously improve preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans.
- Establish maintenance policies, SOPs, and work instructions for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Prepare long-term maintenance plans supporting new products, molds, capacity expansion, and automation.
- Ensure high equipment reliability to meet home appliance production targets.
- Injection Molding & Technical Operations/strong>
- Manage maintenance of injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment.
- Oversee mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance activities.
- Support mold installation, trials, troubleshooting, and process stabilization.
- Lead RCA for recurring breakdowns, mold defects, and process issues.
- Electrical & Mechanical Systems/strong>
- Ensure maintenance of power distribution, control panels, PLCs, motors, drives, and safety circuits.
- Supervise maintenance of mechanical systems (gearboxes, pumps, bearings, hydraulics).
- Ensure calibration and reliability of critical instruments and safety devices.
- Performance, Budget & Spare Parts/strong>
- Prepare and control the maintenance budget while maintaining equipment reliability.
- Define and manage spare parts strategy for critical machines and molds.
- Approve maintenance purchases and manage suppliers and contractors.
- Monitor and improve KPIs including uptime, downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance cost.
- Health, Safety & Compliance/strong>
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, electrical and machine safety, and LOTO procedures.
- Ensure alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and internal quality standards.
- Participate in audits and implement corrective actions.
- Team Leadership & Development/strong>
- Lead, coach, and evaluate electrical and mechanical maintenance teams.
- Define training needs, particularly in injection molding and automation.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure effective shift coverage.
- Promote teamwork, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Continuous Improvement & Reporting/strong>
- Drive TPM, Lean, and Kaizen initiatives to reduce downtime, scrap, and maintenance costs.
- Prepare periodic maintenance performance reports for senior management.
- Proactively identify equipment risks and improvement opportunities.
- Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 10 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably home appliances or plastic injection molding.
- Strong hands-on experience in injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment.
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, PLC basics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical maintenance.
- Proven experience in maintenance data analysis, statistics, and KPI monitoring.
- Hands-on experience using Power BI (or similar BI tools) for dashboards and reporting.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Experience with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and maintenance KPIs is highly preferred.
