Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all production equipment and facility systems.
- Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems within the plant.
- Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and ensure the availability of critical spare parts and tools.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering departments to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and plant productivity.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for specialized maintenance activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience in the food industry
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven track record of leading and developing maintenance teams.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and control maintenance costs.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work onsite and respond to emergencies as needed.
