Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities:
  • Plan, lead, and supervise all preventive and corrective maintenance activities for:
  • Deep well submersible pumps
  • Vertical turbine pumps
  • Surface and booster pumps
  • Electrical panels, ATS, VFDs (Schneider, ABB, Inomax, etc.)
  • Diagnose failures, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions.
  • Manage the maintenance team (technicians, electricians, installers) and assign tasks efficiently.
  • Coordinate with the Operations and Sales teams to prepare maintenance schedules and job orders.
  • Supervise installation, dismantling, and testing of pumps on-site and in workshop.
  • Ensure all jobs comply with safety, quality, and client standards.
  • Maintain documentation of service reports, site visits, maintenance logs, and spare parts usage.
  • Monitor inventory of spare parts and coordinate requirements with the procurement team.
  • Provide technical support for major projects and commissioning works.
  • Train technicians on troubleshooting, installation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Improve maintenance procedures to reduce downtime and increase operational efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role within pumps, water systems, industrial maintenance, or electromechanical services.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Deep well pump systems (submersible motors, turbines, stages)
  • Pump installation and pulling procedures
  • Electrical control panels (star-delta, VFD, ATS)
  • Industrial safety standards
  • Proven leadership ability and experience managing maintenance teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Valid driver s license.
  • Preferred: Experience in agricultural wells, drilling, or irrigation systems.
