Maintenance Manager

a) Lead the establishment of the Maintenance Department for MMC s new Copper Concentrator Plant, including the definition of organizational structure, staffing plan, procedures, and required maintenance infrastructure.

b) Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies, standards, and systems (CMMS) to ensure sustainable reliability and efficiency of all plant assets.

c) Lead the overall maintenance function across all plant areas, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines, ensuring alignment with production and safety objectives.

d) Collaborate with EPCM contractors, OEMs, and commissioning teams to define asset care plans, spare parts requirements, and maintenance handover documentation before plant start-up.

e) Develop and implement long-term maintenance strategies, policies, and plans that optimize asset performance and lifecycle costs.

f) Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs in line with the company s standards and best industry practices.

g) Establish and manage maintenance readiness and operational transition from project phase to steady-state operation.

h) Ensure maintenance budgets, forecasts, and cost controls are effectively managed and aligned with operational and financial goals.

i) Drive continuous improvement initiatives in reliability, equipment performance, and maintenance efficiency through innovation and best practices.

j) Build, mentor, and develop a skilled multidisciplinary maintenance team capable of meeting current and future operational needs.

k) Implement comprehensive training and competency development programs to build MMC s internal maintenance capabilities.

l) Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor and enhance maintenance effectiveness and asset health.

m) Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, and HSE departments to ensure maintenance activities support production targets and comply with all safety and regulatory requirements.

n) Manage relationships with OEMs, vendors, and contractors to ensure quality service delivery, warranty compliance, and technical support.

o) Promote a strong safety culture within the maintenance department by ensuring strict adherence to company safety standards and procedures.

p) Prepare regular reports and analysis for senior management covering maintenance performance, reliability trends, and improvement actions.

q) Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives.
