1. Maintenance Planning & Execution

Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for fabrication machinery (e.g., CNC cutting machines, welders, press brakes, rolling machines, cranes, compressors).

Plan and coordinate routine and non-routine maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

Ensure timely troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

2. Equipment & Facility Management

Oversee maintenance of plant utilities including power distribution, compressed air systems, HVAC, and material-handling equipment.

Maintain equipment records, manuals, and spare parts inventories.

Manage calibration of tools, measuring devices, and safety equipment.

3. Team Leadership

Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance technicians and contractors.

Develop team skills in diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance.

Assign tasks, create schedules, and ensure coverage for all shifts as required.

4. Safety & Compliance

Enforce compliance with OSHA and relevant local safety regulations.

Conduct regular inspections and ensure machinery guards, lockout/tagout procedures, and safety systems are fully functional.

Support root-cause investigations for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

5. Budgeting & Reporting

Prepare and manage maintenance budget, including labor, spare parts, and external contractor costs.

Track KPI metrics such as downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance costs.

Prepare regular reports for plant management on maintenance status and improvement initiatives.

6. Continuous Improvement

Recommend and implement upgrades to equipment and maintenance systems.

Lead reliability improvement projects to enhance productivity, efficiency, and equipment lifespan.

Promote lean maintenance practices and 5S within the maintenance department.
