Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Maintenance Strategy & Execution

  • Lead and direct all electrical, mechanical, and civil maintenance activities across the factory and common areas.
  • Oversee breakdown, preventive, and planned maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize asset life.
  • Respond promptly to malfunctions, emergencies, and operational issues to ensure minimal disruption to production.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, scheduling, and communication of all maintenance activities.

Equipment & Utilities Management

  • Maintain, inspect, and upgrade common utilities and technical installations, including new machinery and equipment.
  • Support the relocation of machinery and equipment according to operational requirements.
  • Demonstrate expertise in HV/LV systems, power/control circuits, breakers, and thermographic inspections.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation for all equipment, utilities, and maintenance infrastructure.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with local and international safety, health, and environmental regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, energy audits, and thermographic studies; ensure HV installation compliance.
  • Lead or participate in incident investigations, audits, and safety meetings.

Continuous Improvement & Efficiency

  • Identify opportunities and implement technical and process improvements to enhance equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and improve energy efficiency.
  • Develop and execute capital improvement projects targeting maintenance reduction, process upgrades, and utility optimization.
  • Promote lean maintenance practices and root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies.

Team Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and develop the maintenance team, including technicians and supervisors.
  • Promote a proactive maintenance culture and foster cross-department collaboration.
  • Provide training on new technologies, equipment, and safety practices.
  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of comprehensive experience in industrial plant maintenance and project execution.
  • Proven expertise in the maintenance and operation of diverse electrical and mechanical systems, including:
  • Power distribution networks, HV/LV panels, and transformers
  • Diesel generator sets
  • Air compressors and HVAC systems
  • Material handling equipment
  • Miscellaneous civil maintenance activities
  • Demonstrated leadership in safety, regulatory compliance, and team development.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Proven expertise in the maintenance and operation of diverse electrical and mechanical systems, including:
