Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and develop the electrical and mechanical maintenance teams.

  • Schedule and assign daily, weekly, and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and identify training needs.

Maintenance Planning & Execution

  • Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all plant equipment.
  • Ensure quick and effective troubleshooting and resolution of equipment failures.
  • Coordinate major repairs, overhauls, and installations in collaboration with production and engineering.

Technical Oversight

  • Ensure all electrical and mechanical systems function according to design and safety standards.
  • Maintain updated technical documentation for machinery and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

Operational Support

  • Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.
  • Participate in daily plant meetings to align maintenance activities with operational priorities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce safe work practices and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with Omani regulations and company policies.

Reporting & Budgeting

  • Track maintenance KPIs (e.g., MTTR, MTBF, equipment uptime).
  • Assist in preparing maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory management, and capital improvement plans.

Desired Candidate Profile

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating all electrical and mechanical maintenance activities across the aqua feed and animal feed production lines. This role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency through the effective execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs. By leading a team of electricians and mechanics, the Maintenance Lead supports minimal production downtime, enhances equipment lifespan, and promotes safe and efficient plant operations.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 10 years of progressive experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
