Roles & Responsibilities
Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor – Fire Alarm Systems
Location: Qatar
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in Fire Alarm Systems maintenance and supervision
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Purpose:
To supervise and manage maintenance activities related to fire alarm systems across assigned facilities, ensuring compliance with QCDD regulations and maintaining operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the routine and corrective maintenance of fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional).
Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire alarm equipment in accordance with QCDD guidelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve system faults, errors, and breakdowns.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for preventive maintenance schedules.
Ensure timely completion and documentation of maintenance records, service reports, and checklists.
Train and guide technicians to follow proper procedures, safety practices, and technical standards.
Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Respond to emergency repair requests and lead the onsite team during such events.
Participate in QCDD inspections, audits, and certification processes.
Maintain an adequate stock of spare parts and request procurement when necessary.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance and supervision of Fire Alarm Systems.
Strong knowledge of QCDD regulations and standards.
Hands-on experience with fire alarm panels (e.g., Edwards, Honeywell, Siemens, Notifier).
Good leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage a team of technicians and prioritize tasks effectively.
Valid QID and transferable visa preferred.
