Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

To supervise and control maintenance activities related to PLC-controlled machinery, automated production systems, and electromechanical equipment, ensuring high equipment reliability, minimal downtime, and compliance with ASMEF operational and QHSE standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Supervise daily maintenance activities for automated and PLC-controlled equipment.

  • Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.

  • Coordinate with Production and OEM vendors to minimize downtime and improve system performance.

  • Troubleshoot electrical and automation faults to minimize downtime.

  • Coordinate maintenance schedules with Production and Operations teams.

  • Support commissioning, upgrades, and automation modifications.

  • Lead, assign, and monitor maintenance technicians and electricians.

  • Ensure manpower utilization and performance tracking.

  • Conduct toolbox talks and technical guidance sessions.

  • Identify training needs for team skill development.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS.

  • Prepare breakdown analysis reports and downtime statistics.

  • Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate with Stores/Procurement.

  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure strict adherence to QHSE procedures.

  • Enforce Lockout–Tagout (LOTO) during maintenance activities.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

  • Participate in safety audits and observation programs.
