Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Maintenance Supervisor (Electromechanical) is a technical operations expert responsible for the ground-level implementation and supervision of maintenance strategies, ensuring that work processes are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and specifications.
The Supervisor oversees the execution of maintenance work, guiding trade employees to ensure completion of assigned jobs to the required quality and safety standards. In addition, the Supervisor promotes and maintains a safe work environment, communicates effectively, manages risks, reviews safety documentation, and supports or conducts safety and health investigations and reporting.
Key Accountabilities:

Apply technical knowledge and supervisory skills to ensure target production throughput and objectives are safely achieved in line with the Section Plan, KPIs, QSTS Values, and IMS system.

Demonstrate work behaviors consistent with company values, complying with all policies, standards, procedures, and applicable legislative requirements.

Minimize production variability by reducing rework and optimizing maintenance costs.

Adhere to health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) policies, procedures, and controls to ensure personal and team safety.

Ensure compliance with quality management procedures and controls to deliver high-quality maintenance services.

Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electromechanical components of machinery to maximize equipment availability.

Conduct performance tests on plant and machinery, promptly identifying and reporting irregularities.

Plan and maintain adequate spare parts inventory to support maintenance operations.

Prepare job plans and provide input to the Section Engineer/Section Manager for work scheduling.

Ensure that jobs are executed according to schedules and steps outlined in maintenance job cards.

Utilize materials and resources efficiently and economically.

Conduct root cause analyses for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.

Provide guidance and technical support to maintenance workers on task execution requirements.

Inspect, maintain, and ensure proper care of tools, equipment, and consumables.

Maintain good housekeeping practices at the workplace.

Obtain necessary safety permits (PTW) before commencing work.

Monitor and supervise job progress, informing the Section Manager of updates and problem areas.

Update the Plant & Machinery (P&M) SAP module regularly to maintain accurate records.

Communicate upward regarding training needs, process improvement suggestions, and follow up on implementation.

Encourage the workforce to report hazards as per QSTS safety policies.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by superiors.

Prioritize the wellbeing of self and colleagues by maintaining a safe, healthy, and supportive work environment; participate in wellbeing and wellness initiatives and promptly report any related concerns.
Desired Candidate Profile
Two-year Trade Course specializing in Electro-Mechanics from a recognized institute.
Degree holders: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Diploma holders: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of fault-finding techniques.
- Working knowledge of machinery, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in electromechanical repair and maintenance.
- Understanding of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
- Basic computer literacy (for daily reporting and documentation).
