Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

  • Perform and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on metal cap manufacturing equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems.

  • Plan and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring minimal production downtime.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and spare parts inventory.

  • Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve machine issues promptly.

  • Assist in the installation, commissioning, and upgrading of machinery.

  • Enforce safety standards, SOPs, and regulatory compliance within the maintenance team.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

  • 5–7 years of experience in industrial or metal caps manufacturing maintenance.

  • Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance environment.

  • Hands-on knowledge of metal cap manufacturing machines and high-speed production lines.

  • Proficient in mechanical and electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC troubleshooting.

  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance planning.

  • Good team management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Certification in maintenance management (CMRP, CMMS, or similar) is a plus.
