Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on machinery and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

  • Perform maintenance and repair of air conditioning units and their accessories.
  • Perform maintenance and repair of refrigeration units, cooling fans in greenhouses, and other related equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and recommend repairs or replacement as necessary.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to avoid breakdowns and downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts and materials used and time spent on each job.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed, including responding to emergency maintenance request clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery as required.
  • Operate all equipment, hand tools, and power tools as required and authorized.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
  • Carry out any other activities as and when required by the reporting manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Diploma degree in Electrical, Refrigeration and Air Condition or equivalent.
  • Additional professional technical qualifications will be advantageous.
