1. Makeup Application, Consultation & Customer Experience

• Provide personalized makeup consultations, including shade matching and complete makeup looks tailored to customer preferences.
• Demonstrate advanced artistry techniques across complexion, eyes, lips, and special-occasion makeup.
• Deliver a premium, immersive beauty experience aligned with luxury brand standards.
• Educate customers on routines, application methods, and product usage with confidence.

 

2. Sales Performance & Product Expertise

• Achieve individual sales targets by recommending products aligned with customer needs and makeup looks created.
• Stay updated on beauty trends, new launches, formulations, and color stories.
• Promote hero SKUs, new collections, and seasonal offerings.
• Drive cross-selling and up-selling to enhance customer value and basket size.

 

3. Store Presentation, Tester Hygiene & Visual Standards

• Maintain high standards of tester hygiene, brush sanitation, and workstation cleanliness.
• Ensure beauty counters, displays, and gondolas meet visual merchandising and brand standards.
• Support stock replenishment, shade organization, and expiry checks (FIFO/FEFO).
• Assist in executing in-store events, masterclasses, and makeup demonstrations.

 

4. Operational Support & Team Collaboration

• Support daily store operations including stock handling, merchandising updates, and floor readiness.
• Share customer insights, shade preferences, and product feedback with store leadership.
• Collaborate with Beauty Advisors and Supervisors to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Participate in ongoing training, product launches, and artistry workshops.

 

Qualifications & Skills

• 2–4 years of experience as a Makeup Artist in beauty retail, cosmetic studios, or luxury beauty brands.
• Certification in Makeup Artistry or a related field is preferred.
• Strong expertise in complexion matching, color theory, blending, and application techniques.
• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills with a service-first approach.
• Basic knowledge of skincare and overall beauty category trends.
• High grooming and presentation standards aligned with luxury retail environments.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-footfall environment with frequent launches and events.
• Sales-driven mindset with the ability to convert consultations into product sales.
