Roles & Responsibilities

This is a premier bilingual school of separate boys and girls campuses, that combine an international curriculum with an ethos that strongly promotes the ideals and culture of the Middle East. All students speak English as a second language.

Teachers are expected to part of the KED program in the school. The key to personalized learning, where the teacher helps the student to set goals and develop successful learning strategies for all school work. In the KED Program, the teacher has four major roles: being a personal coach to support each student s progress, a subject teacher who is an expert in a certain subject, a general teacher who provides support to all students in the school, and a team member in the local and global networks of teachers in the KED Network. Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree (preferable in Business or ICT) plus Teaching Qualification in relevant teaching area

QTS: From UK, Scotland, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand

Experience: Minimum 2 years required

Curriculum: UK IGCSE (experience is essential) and IBDP experience preferred

Subjects: Experience teaching IGCSE and IB Diploma Business Studies, with the ability to teach Computer Science from Years 7 to 11.

Timetable: Business teaching timetable is only 40%

Gender: At the boys' campus so a male teacher is required
