Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Leasing & Tenant Management

  • Develop and execute leasing strategies for both souq stalls and mall retail units.

  • Identify, negotiate, and secure new tenants (local vendors, SMEs, and international brands).

  • Manage lease agreements, renewals, and rental negotiations.

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing tenants to ensure retention.

  • Curate a balanced tenant mix (traditional, cultural, and modern retail).

  • Align mall tenants with brand positioning and target audience.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

  • Achieve leasing revenue targets and occupancy rates.

  • Analyze sales reports and tenant performance.

  • Recommend rent adjustments, promotions, or tenant changes.

  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and leasing reports.


Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate with marketing teams for events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.

  • Work with operations to ensure tenant compliance with policies and standards.

  • Support tenant onboarding (fit-out approvals, store openings).

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day leasing operations.

  • Ensure all lease agreements comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage documentation, contracts, and records.

  • Handle disputes and resolve tenant issues professionally.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in retail leasing (mall, souq, or mixed-use developments).

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

  • Knowledge of retail market trends (especially in the UAE/GCC).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Financial analysis and reporting skills.
