Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operate Man-Lift equipment safely and efficiently as per company and ADNOC safety standards.

  • Conduct pre-operation inspection of equipment before use.

  • Follow equipment manufacturer’s operating and maintenance instructions.

  • Ensure safe lifting and movement of personnel at work sites.

  • Maintain proper communication with supervisors and ground personnel during operations.

  • Adhere strictly to oil & gas site HSE regulations and safe work practices.

  • Identify and report equipment defects, malfunctions, or unsafe conditions immediately.

  • Maintain valid UAE operating license and required competency certifications.

  • Operate fire extinguishers and respond appropriately during emergency situations.

  • Ensure work is carried out safely while maintaining awareness of surroundings and site hazards.

  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and basic daily maintenance checks.

  • Comply with ADNOC-approved training and assessment requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 21 years of age

  • Be educated to a minimum qualification of primary school certificate (preferably grade 8) or equivalent; subjective to GC Management approval with exemption.

  • Be experienced in Man-Lift operations for not less than 1 year in oil and gas companies

  • Be familiar with equipment manufacturer's instructions for the operation and maintenance;

  • Have valid License to operate the specific equipment from the UAE Traffic Department

  • Be capable of understanding the English language (Reading, writing and speaking) sufficient for the fulfillment of their function in a safe manner

  • Be physically fit with regard to eyesight , hearing , reflexes and ability to handle lifting gear and equipment

  • Be able to operate fire extinguishers equipment

  • Be trained for 2 days course, by an ADNOC Group approved training company using approved Tutor and to be assessed every 2 years as defined :

    Hold certificate of competency issued by ADNOC Group approved Training company using approved tutor on completion of above stated course.
