Responsibilities

Month end closing and accounting:

• Record transactions in ERP including accruals and any adjustments entries
• Manage month end closing process and review P&L
• Analyze revenue and cost lines in P&L and provide suggestions
• Co-ordinate with operations team to obtain required data to facilitate month end closing Provide cost visibility/breakdown of key cost elements to all stakeholders and suggest cost optimization
• Review and approve purchase orders and keep track of the cost spending
• Assist Finance Manager and Finance Director with Monthly Management Report, Annual budgeting, Cash flow and CAPEX projections

Reconciliations

• Prepare accruals vs actual reconciliation of expenses month on month
• Conduct revenue reconciliation for billed and accrued revenue
• Review 3rd party transport and manpower invoices

Policies and Procedures

• Recommend improvements to departmental policy and support in the implementation of procedures and controls

Other Responsibilities

• Coordinate with operations excellence and operations team on cost savings opportunities Perform other job related projects and/or assignments that he/she might be asked to do by his/her direct supervisor/manager for special assistance that are often not mentioned in this job description as they arise under specific circumstances
