Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare accurate monthly management accounts to tight deadlines.
Own and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are fully supported, reviewed, and cleared in a timely manner.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, unusual balances, and reconciling items.
Ensure the business is audit-ready at all times, with clear documentation and supporting schedules.
Act as a key point of contact for auditors, responding to queries and providing evidence as required.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
Review financial data for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies.
Work closely with AP, AR, payroll, and finance systems to ensure strong data integrity across all ledgers.
Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and business decision support as required.
Identify and implement improvements to processes, controls, and reporting.

- Minimum 5 years experience in management accounting or a similar role. br>Strong experience in balance sheet reconciliations, controls, and month-end close.
- Experience preparing for and supporting external audits.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong control mindset.
- Confidence working in a multi-entity and multi-currency environment.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
