Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
-
Contribute to the development and growth of unique adventure sports offerings across our destinations.
-
Support training, operations, and delivery of inland adventure and action sports activities.
-
Oversee compliance of guides, staff, and activities with venue-specific SOPs, while assisting in SOP development and continuous evaluation.

Lead and support a team of guides, instructors, and junior instructors to deliver exceptional guest experiences, reflecting the unique Red Sea service style.
-
Ensure all inland adventure venues, equipment, and related assets are properly maintained, safe, and clean at all times.
-
Actively promote and advocate for all adventure activities within the wider project, including those outside direct responsibility (e.g., diving).

Participate in regular reviews with senior adventure management, providing updates on operational performance.

Apply and enforce international adventure rules and regulations, liaising with local and global sports bodies where necessary.
Policies, Systems, and Reporting

Adhere to all functional policies, processes, SOPs, and work instructions to ensure consistency and control.

Assist in preparing accurate and timely reports and MIS statements in line with corporate and functional requirements.
Safety, Quality & Environment

Implement safety, quality, and environmental policies to ensure staff well-being, compliance with legislation, high service standards, and sustainable operations.
Continuous Improvement

Identify and contribute to opportunities for process improvement, cost efficiency, productivity enhancement, and alignment with international best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
-
Wilderness First Aid Certification (or equivalent from an internationally recognized provider), including CPR and hypothermia/hyperthermia management, valid for at least 6 months upon joining.

Minimum 3 years experience in the tourism industry (experience in Saudi Arabia preferred).

Proven track record in delivering adventure sports activities within luxury hospitality or resort environments.

Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-cultural teams in collaborative settings.

Risk awareness with the ability to proactively address operational hazards.

Effective mentoring and coaching skills to develop team members professionally and personally.

Innovative mindset, supporting the design and delivery of new adventure projects.

Strong commitment to excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, and self-motivation.

Fluency in English (written and spoken) required; Arabic or additional languages a strong advantage.

Positive, proactive, charismatic, and approachable personality with exceptional customer service and leadership skills.

The Red Sea Development Company
The Adventure Operations Manager will play a key role across The Red Sea and Amaala destinations, working closely with senior adventure management to oversee adventure assets and expand a diverse inland adventure program for all visiting guests. This role is responsible for supporting the operational rollout of the adventure program, delivering training across the business, and fostering strong collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with both local communities and business partners.
