Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

Support the development and execution of business planning and development initiatives across international markets by identifying growth opportunities, conducting market and financial analysis, and contributing to the implementation of expansion strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:

Support the development and execution of market research, business planning and growth strategies across international markets. 

Identify and assess new business opportunities, including market entry strategies, partnerships, and structuring. 

Manage development of project investment cases, feasibility studies, and due diligence processes

Provide comprehensive financial analysis to support decision-making. 

Support implementation and asset management of existing portfolio investments in the Middle East & Egypt region

Prepare presentations, reports, and memos for the line manager, internal stakeholders and leadership. 

Monitor project performance and support analysis of operational, financial, and commercial data. 

Support client and partner engagements, including meetings, proposals, and follow-ups. 

Maintain and update records of business development pipelines, opportunities, and performance metrics. 

Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging opportunities across target markets.

People Management Responsibilities:

Supervise and support junior team members in executing assigned tasks. 

Provide guidance, coaching, and development support. 

Contribute to performance evaluations and team capability building.

 

 

Strategic Responsibilities:

Contribute to the implementation of business development and expansion strategies. 

Provide insights and recommendations based on market intelligence and competitive analysis. 

Support the development of initiatives that drive revenue growth and enhance customer value.
Qualifications
Educational and Technical Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.

Language Skills:

Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken). 

Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

Years of Experience:

Minimum 7–12 years of relevant experience.

Preference to in-house development team for multinational, financial modelling consultancy, or Big Four accounting firm

 

Nature of Experience:

Experience in business planning, strategy, or business development roles. 

Exposure to international markets, preferably within ports, maritime, logistics, or infrastructure sectors. 

Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. 

Experience in project coordination and execution. 

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
