The role will lead the implementation, optimisation, and continuous improvement of devices and IT assets. By leveraging innovative technologies, this role will drive process improvements, bring world class devices usage experience to the users at optimised cost and thereby maximise business value, ultimately ensuring the organisation achieves greater agility, operational excellence, and competitive advantage.

Main Duties

  • Planning & Acquisition: Assessing needs, budgeting, sourcing vendors, and procuring assets that align with company standards and IT policy.
  • Deployment & Setup: Configuring, installing, and testing hardware/software, including mobile devices and remote work technology.
  • Maintenance & Support: Monitoring performance, conducting repairs, updating software, and performing preventive maintenance to extend asset life.
  • Asset Tracking & Management: Maintaining accurate, up-to-date inventories of all hardware/software and managing the asset database.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensuring devices comply with company security policies, patching vulnerabilities, and adhering to software license agreements.
  • Retirement & Disposal: Safely decommissioning assets, erasing data, and disposing of or recycling hardware in accordance with environmental and security regulations

Specific Duties

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and manage a team providing direction, mentorship, and support for professional development.
  • Establish strong relationships with business leaders, IT teams, external vendors, and consultants to drive application improvements and enhancements.

Asset Management

  • Lead the design and development of integrated business process flows, ensuring alignment with global best practices and business system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to assess system interface, integration, and performance requirements.
  • Manage and oversee the testing process, including preparing test cases, testing strategies, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for deployment of a new device or IT asset.
  • Coordinate Conference Room Pilot (CRP) sessions, including environment setup, issue resolution, and feedback incorporation.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Design and implement dashboards and reports for management, providing actionable insights at the board level.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure that system-generated reports are accurate and aligned with business objectives
  • Report and implement cost savings measures for asset life cycle management, including laptops, AV, network and infra.

Business System User Support & Issue Resolution Management:

  • Provide functional support for devices to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to devices, AV, business processes, and user inquiries.
  • Track and manage IT tickets: Ensure that all reported issues, changes, and requests are logged, assigned, and tracked through resolution
  • Prioritise issues based on business impact, severity, and urgency, ensuring that critical issues are addressed promptly.
  • Monitor Change Requests: Ensure all changes to the asset lifecycle are documented and approved before implementation and track their progress through the change management process.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field

Minimum Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in asset management, modern work place, delivery management, change management, and project management.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, workflows, internal controls, data analytics, system architecture and process automation.
  • Strong leadership experience with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and complex implementations
