Manager Enterprise Risk Risk Consulting Energy Capital Projects
We enhance performance through creating risk-enabled organizations and help clients identify important risks, design frameworks to manage them and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of risk management. As a risk professional, you will be addressing client issues and transformations relating to Enterprise Risk Management (covering both business and project/program/portfolio risk), Internal Audit, Program Risk Management, process and controls design and effectiveness, and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) implementations. Our solutions can be used by our clients to build confidence and trust with their customers, the overall market and when required by regulation or contract.

Your key responsibilities
This is a role where no two days are the same so you ll find yourself taking on plenty of new responsibilities as you go. You will be responsible for managing multiple client engagement teams at an executive level within the practice and the firm. You ll work alongside clients and colleagues, delivering our solutions and contributing to growing our business and developing our people. Since you ll be working directly with clients, some travel will be required. Below are examples of expectations from your grade:
- Effectively manage and motivate client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
- Consistently deliver quality client services and manage expectations of client service delivery
- Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
- Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships and networks with clients and internal EY stakeholders
- Demonstrate deep technical capabilities and professional knowledge
- Possess in depth business acumen and demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge
- Remain current on new developments in consulting services capabilities and industry knowledge
- Support in leading or being key driver in pursuits and proposals preparations and submissions technical and commercial.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- A bachelor's or master's degree inEngineering preferrable Mechanical, , Risk Management, , Industrial engineering, or other related discipline
- Manager: A minimum of 8 years of hands-on industry experience, experience working as Project Control Engineer or Project Manager or Project Engineer having IA auditor or Risk/Compliance adviser background/experience for a a professional services firm, or within industry such EPC, PC main contractors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proficient in Scheduling Tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft project.
- Direct industry experience e.g. from an Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning (EPCC) contractor or PC contractor (Mega or large scale value projects)
- Site construction experience:
- Having practical site construction experience
- Ability to mobilize to project remote sites (as some client scope occurs there)
- Direct work in the oil and gas industry or similar nature.
- Practical knowledge of projects monitoring and control (KPIs of any project health)
- Scheduling Basic knowledge of technicalities and lingo preferable with Primavera (P6) software
- Budget control (invoicing, actual expenditure and forecast to or at completion)
- Quality control (documentation and material preservation)
- Health, safety, and environment controls (HSE aware)
- Procurement cycle (RFQ raising to deliver of material to site)
- Contract management and scope & change management (variation orders)
- Progress measurement system (PMS) and Monthly/Weekly progress reports (MPR/WPR) generation/assessment
- Enterprise Risk management, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC)
- Willingness to travel outside of their assigned office location as the need arises
- Strong data analytical skills are required
- Professional certifications such as: PMP, RMP, Prince, Chartered management Institute (CMI), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Governance, Risk, Compliance professional (GRCP), Professional Risk Manager (PRMIA),
