About the Position:

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Insurance -Manager to join the resort s Finance Team.

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • The Insurance Manager is responsible for the oversight and delivery of Wynn Al Marjan Island s insurance and risk management program.
  • Analyse and lead the design of Wynn Al Marjan Island s insurance strategy and program.
  • Advise on all companywide insurance matters including reviewing operations, identifying gaps, and recommending new coverage as needed.

  • Work collaboratively with brokers and internal stakeholders to evaluate insurance products, policy terms and conditions, including new placements or enhancements to existing coverage.
  • Review and process insurance claims, ensuring fair dealing and satisfaction in handling claims.

  • Collaborate with legal teams and Corporate Head Office to ensure all insurance activities comply with legal standards and Group policies.
  • Coordinate site visits for insurance appraisals and loss mitigation/risk control services, present the resulting recommendations internally and discuss their implementations.

  • Act as the central point of expertise for insurance queries at Wynn Al Marjan Island
  • Maintain accurate records of insurance policies and claim and provide advice and guidance to management on insurance-related matters
  • Manage the insurance budget and negotiate insurance premiums and coverage with insurance providers.

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships throughout the organization to support the long-term growth of the function.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent directly-related work experience required
  • Minimum of 7-10 years experience in insurance, preferably within the hospitality or gaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of insurance laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Proven record of developing and executing successful insurance strategies in the gaming or hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
