Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
PhD Degree/ Master’s degree in Graphic Design or its equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in the similar field
DESIRED CRITERIA:
Ability to teach a variety of graphic design studios and related courses.
Proficiency in recent design and photo editing software for teaching courses such as – Web Design, Digital Media, Motion Graphics, 2D- 3D Animation, Video Production and more.
Creative skills in print media, illustration, and image-making
Relevant Industry experience of minimum 2 years
Good research record, participation in exhibitions and membership in relevant bodies related to the field of Graphic Design
An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.
Experience in online teaching and evaluation.
Preferably, proficiency in both Arabic and English
Desired Candidate Profile
Master’s degree Degree in International Relations, Higher Education Management, Business Administration or it’s equivalent
At least 7 years experience of progressive leadership experience within a Higher Education International Office.
Proven track record in negotiating and managing international academic agreements (MoUs, MoAs, Hosted Degrees, Dual Degrees, Student and Faculty Mobility, etc.).
Demonstrated experience in student mobility management and risk mitigation.
Ability to translate high-level strategic goals into measurable KPIs and operational plans.
Deep knowledge of internationalizing the curriculum, credit transfer systems (ECTS or equivalent), and quality assurance standards.
Expertise in developing and executing international crisis management plans and "Duty of Care" protocols especially during study trips or travel exchanges.
Familiarity with the legal vetting of international contracts, including Intellectual Property (IP) clauses, data protection, and financial obligations.
Exceptional diplomatic and intercultural communication skills; ability to represent the university to high-level global stakeholders.
Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable
A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree, particularly with a focus on global education or women’s leadership.
Direct experience managing Erasmus+ or similar international grant-funded frameworks.
Experience in a "start-up" or "restructuring" environment where ad-hoc processes were transitioned into formal policies.
Proven ability to support international student recruitment and identify revenue-generating partnership opportunities.
An established global network of contacts in higher education, accreditation bodies, and international organizations.
Experience implementing digital management systems for mobility and partnership tracking.
