Position Overview
Majid Al Futtaim Retail is seeking a skilled Manager Risk and Compliance to oversee policy development, risk mitigation, and compliance execution across multiple countries. The role supports the Vice President of Risk and Compliance in designing and implementing strategies that safeguard assets, ensure adherence to internal controls, and promote an ethical, secure retail environment. The position plays a key role in identifying operational risks, improving response systems, and supporting investigations into policy violations or irregularities.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in developing, updating, and enforcing corporate risk and compliance policies across all MAF Retail markets.
* Support the implementation of risk management frameworks and compliance programs aligned with company objectives.
* Coordinate with regional teams to ensure security and compliance alignment across stores and operations.
* Conduct analysis of compliance data and risk assessments, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions.
* Participate in fraud and ethics investigations, ensuring adherence to internal policies and legal standards.
* Prepare risk evaluation reports and ensure mitigation measures are effectively implemented.
* Contribute to crisis management and disaster recovery initiatives, ensuring business continuity and safety.
* Recommend process improvements to enhance governance and reduce organizational exposure to risks.

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management or compliance, with at least 2 years in the retail sector.
* Strong analytical, project management, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with proficiency in reporting and presentation.
* Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to compliance standards.
