Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through customer acquisition and engagement with a focus on supply chain logistics solutions selling in a B2B environment. Additionally, the role will be responsible for managing and mentoring Sales Specialists / Executives for growing within GCC / MENA regions.

  • Formulate, recommend, and execute sales strategies for all services in the Logistics Cluster.
  • Grow the market share in the region by building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target organizations
  • Lead and direct the sales and bookings in collaboration with customer service team to ensure that sales targets are achieved through the efficient implementation of approved sales and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback and insights on market trends and customer needs
  • Execute plans and programs as directed by the Commercial Director
  • Oversee and manage an efficient and sales team with focus on driving appropriate logistics solution in the right markets
  • Form day-to-day sales strategies to meet targets, and keep the company competitive and innovative.
  • Serve as the company s business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, expositions (as may be directed by the Chief Commercial Officer).
  • Form sales plans to effectively address emerging changes or shifts in key markets or sectors.
  • Evaluate and formulate career development plans for the sales team.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that clients expectations are met and service commitments are delivered.
  • Ensure the maximum utilization of company assets and equipment at all times
  • Prepare appropriate presentations for pitching the company and its product value proposition to the target audiences at all times
  • Prepare commercially competitive and technically sound proposals with the objective of maximizing wins.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 8 10 years experience
