Roles & Responsibilities
Role Summary:
The GCP Dedicated Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, architecting cloud infrastructure, and ensuring best practices in cloud adoption and migration.
Responsibilities:
- Design and architect GCP cloud solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
- Develop and implement cloud strategies, including security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud services.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on GCP best practices.
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and standards.
- Evaluate new GCP services and tools to improve cloud architecture and operations.
- Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions on GCP technologies.
- Ensure adherence to security policies and compliance requirements in cloud environments
Technical Skills:
- Experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, Deployment Manager, IAM, Stackdriver (Cloud Monitoring & Logging).
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
- Experience in agile and DevOps environments.
Professional Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.

8+ years in cloud technologies, with a minimum of 3 years in GCP cloud architecture/p>
Should have experience:
Hands-on experience securing GCP environments./p>
Experience in cloud migration projects/p>
Nice to have experience/strong> /p>
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)./li>
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Google Cloud Build./li>
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation in cloud environments./li>
