Roles & Responsibilities

Manager - Statutory Reporting & Compliance will oversee statutory financial reporting, tax compliance, and regulatory filings in accordance with IFRS. This role ensures accurate bank reconciliations, entity-wise ledger segregation, and adherence to financial policies while streamlining internal and external audits. The Manager will identify and mitigate compliance risks, liaise with regulatory authorities, and ensure financial reporting processes align with the latest regulations, keeping management informed of any updates.

Desired Candidate Profile

Prepare and submit statutory financial reports/statements and disclosures in accordance with IFRS.

Oversight/Knowledge on tax related matters that may come up during return filing.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure timing differences or other reconciling items are accounted for.

Ensure entity wise segregation in ledger and banking records.

Streamline /support internal and external audit processes by ensuring all documents, explanations and justifications are provided. Ensure timely submission of other regulatory submissions.

Ensure company policies pertaining to financial reporting and compliance are maintained.

Identify and assess compliance risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

Ensure all reporting/relating processes are in line with the latest financial regulations and updating management on changes.

Liaise with regulatory authorities and internal departments to ensure seamless compliance processes.

Oversee and train the team members when needed on compliance standards, reporting accuracy, and adherence to financial policies.

Defining and looking after insurance claims processes whether for guest claims or damaged goods, liaising with legal department/ insurance company for streamlining lodging of claims.

Ensuring all operational and regulatory licenses/permits are obtained and additionally the parks are in compliance with corporate social responsibility and other governance laws.

Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: 3-6+ years of experience in financial reporting, statutory compliance, audit coordination, or regulatory affair

Skills: Strong understanding of local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance frameworks. Ability to enhance reporting efficiency through process optimization and system automation. Ability to identify financial risks, analyze complex data, and propose strategic solutions. Strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and compliance in financial reporting. Ability to work collaboratively with auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams. Strong leadership skills with the ability to present financial reports and compliance insights to senior management. Languages: Fluent in English.
