Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for delivering top quality work as a subject matter expert in credit risk.
Rigorously and logically identify issues covering entire client problems in credit risk, analytics, risk policy benchmarks, risk scorecards etc.
Generate key hypotheses and independently structures work at the stream or project level
Synthesize analyses into clear, sound recommendations
Identify creative and useful additional analyses required and suggest new paradigms for recommendations
Create effective, impactful and quality assured storylines and slides at stream or project level
Participate in recruiting, training, and developing others, as requested
Develop effective working relationships with mid- to senior-level client management
Independently assess client agenda, internal culture and change readiness.
Work closely with Regional Lead Credit Practice Lead to grow the credit risk practice involving creation of new solutions, creation of blue book for credit risk, involvement in BD support etc.
Desired Candidate Profile
Basic qualifications
- Undergraduate degree with work experience in retail bank with significant experience in credit risk, collections, authorizations, analytics etc.
- Managing Card Management Systems including subsystems such as Fraud Detection Systems, Database Marketing Tools, Workflow systems etc.
- Experience coaching and managing teams across multiple consulting engagements that involve structured problem solving and stakeholder management
- Experience managing key client relationships
- Knowledge of business KPIs, financials, and organizational leadership
- Ability to identify new business development opportunities, and experience drafting proposals and scoping new opportunities
- Logical, structured thinking, and affinity for numerical analysis
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Arabic
- Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needs
- Ability to travel to client sites on a semi-regular basis
Preferred qualifications
- Work experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business intelligence, business line management, or product management
- Programming skills including prior experience of scorecard build
- Experience coaching and managing teams across multiple cobr>
- Experience generating new knowledge or creating innovative solutions for a firm
- MBA or master s degree
