Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Precisely operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders to produce parts meeting stringent dimensional tolerances, ensuring each piece aligns perfectly with blueprints.
  • Masterfully interpret complex engineering drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T symbols, transforming concepts into tangible, high-precision components.
  • Skillfully select, set up, and maintain a variety of cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures, optimizing machining processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct meticulous in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.), guaranteeing parts adhere to rigorous quality standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational understanding of technical concepts.

  • Experience as a manual machinist, preferably with valve or pressure equipment;

  • Knowledge of machining techniques and materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, alloys);

  • Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines;

  • Basic understanding of quality and safety standards.
