Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Precisely operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders to produce parts meeting stringent dimensional tolerances, ensuring each piece aligns perfectly with blueprints.
- Masterfully interpret complex engineering drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T symbols, transforming concepts into tangible, high-precision components.
- Skillfully select, set up, and maintain a variety of cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures, optimizing machining processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct meticulous in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.), guaranteeing parts adhere to rigorous quality standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational understanding of technical concepts.
Experience as a manual machinist, preferably with valve or pressure equipment;
Knowledge of machining techniques and materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, alloys);
Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines;
Basic understanding of quality and safety standards.
