Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and ensuring the implementation of operational procedures on the vessel in accordance with the technical standards in the maritime industry.
  • Assist in monitoring the implementation of the company's legal regulations related to fleet operations and conducting periodic audits as necessary.
  • Participate in establishing a system for monitoring and supervising activities related to fleet operations periodically.
  • Using risk analysis to review incoming and outgoing reports to highlight unexpected risks during fleet operations.
  • Contribute to research and analysis to ascertain the compliance of Kuwaiti oil tankers with local and international regulations.
  • Participating and contributing to the preparation of the executive regulations for fleet operations in the company, such as emergency plans and procedures.
  • Participation and contribution to external visits to high ports to analyse the extent to which the Kuwaiti oil tanker fleet adheres to local and international regulations. Performing other similar tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
  • Performing any other similar tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education & Qualification: A valid Master Mariner License endorsed by the "Flag State Endorsement"


Experience:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience with tankers, including at least 2 years as a captain on oil and gas tankers.
  • 2 years of experience as a fleet operations supervisor.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in English reading, writing, and communication.
  • Proficiency in using computers and their applications.
