We are seeking a skilled Marine Electrician to join our dynamic team. As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on various marine vessels. Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical systems on marine vessels efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical components, wiring, and equipment on ships.
• Maintain, calibrate, and test marine electrical systems regularly for optimal performance.
• Interpret electrical schematics and blueprints for installation and repair tasks.
• Identify and resolve electrical issues to ensure safety and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to upgrade and modify existing electrical systems.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and document inspections and repairs accurately.
• Ensure all electrical activities adhere to maritime safety and environmental regulations.
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment to carry out electrical repairs and installations.
• Provide technical support and training to junior electricians and other crew members.
• Keep updated with the latest advancements in maritime electrical technologies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Marine Electrician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, components, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for electrical troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of maritime safety, environmental rules, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
